Melanie Kushner Interiors is a Toronto-based design firm. This renovation project in Etobicoke featured updates throughout the home. We focused our attention on capturing the dining room, kitchen, living room and two bathrooms.   

This inviting dining room features a stunning statement light fixture, warm and contemporary furniture, and custom drapery.

Opening onto the dining room, the kitchen hosts cabinetry in a rich muted colour,  gold accents, elegant pendants, wooden floating shelving and a gorgeous farmhouse sink. Melanie and her team styled the space using primarily white ceramic pieces, glassware,  some organic elements and wood accents. The minimal palette in the styling really helps the design elements pop!

Updated flooring can be seen throughout the main floor. Contemporary furnishings and custom drapery cozy up the new living room.

The kids bath saw a full penny tile feature wall in pastel pink. A perfect way to make for a fun space, but still subtle and sophisticated that the girls can grow into.

The principal bathroom is a full luxury suite featuring a double vanity, freestanding soaker tub and glass-enclosed shower. The stone and tile work feature beautiful blue veining and is complimented with gold hardware and fixtures.
