Dochia Interior Design - Timber Frame Home | Toronto Interior Design Photography

Dochia Interior Design is a Toronto-based interior design firm. This unique timber frame  home might feel like an oasis in cottage country, but is located right in the GTA.  While shooting this project, we focused on the main floor to showcase the interior finishes, furnishings and materials used to bring this project together.

The main floor, while open concept, is still comprised of several distinct zones. In the main living space, a striking double-height fireplace feature is complimented by neutral modern furniture.

The kitchen offers an elegant feel with an art deco backsplash and brass tones in the hood vent and island. A light-filled breakfast nook off the kitchen carries through neutral tones and a cozy feel.

The dining room is tucked at the back of the house, overlooking a lush yard.

The second-story landing overlooks the main floor and offers an additional lounge area. This home really is the perfect mix of rustic and contemporary!

Ink Interiors - Howland Ave. Condo | Interior Design Photography Toronto

Ink Interiors is a Toronto-based interior design firm. We captured updates to this new build condo in Toronto’s west-end this past Fall. As someone who’s shot their fair share of basic builder units for Airbnb listings, I love shooting a condo that a designer’s gotten their hands on. I’m always so impressed by the customizations that can really make these units feel like any stand-alone property.

The open-concept living space was treated to a built-in media and shelving unit, custom furnishings from Abacus Furniture and plenty of unique artwork and decor. While the kitchen remained the same, designer Mary-Catherine opted to upgrade the island with a stunning sculptural pendant and modern dining stools.

The primary bedroom was brought to life with soothing blue tones including a feature wall of wallpaper and some custom furniture to bring more storage into the space.

In the powder room, Mary-Catherine played with the juxtaposition of the existing modern vanity against a more traditional style wallpaper and antique art.

Fluid Living Studio - Garrison Point | Toronto Interior Design Photography

Fluid Living Studio is a Toronto-based design-build firm. We captured this expansive condo in the Fort York area this past Fall focusing on the main living spaces and the primary suite.

Upon entering the unit you are greeted with a modern dining space opening into the kitchen. Black, white and wood tones make a cohesive palette as you move through the unit.

The kitchen offers ample space for food prep and entertaining. High-end finishes, fixtures, custom millwork and simple styling make for an elegant space. A custom wall cabinet with built-in lighting holds barware and an integrated full-size wine fridge offers function and architectural interest.

The living room includes a stunning stone fireplace and is flanked by custom display cabinetry with a smoky glass finish. The space is furnished in neutral tones but with varying textures and shapes. Working within the confines of a condo build, a ceiling detail was integrated to add visual interest to the space.

The primary suite offers a classic skyline view. And inside, the unique layout includes a slatted millwork wall that acts as a headboard.

The primary bathroom offers a luxury space to start and end your day. And a large custom closet features more built-in storage and specialty accent lighting.

We finished off with a few other vignettes of this stunning unit!
